The Southern Israelite newspaper covered events all over the Southeast.
I searched for CAPILOUTO in the digital archives and found 46 hits for
the years ranging >from 1935 to 1986. I didn't review all of them, but
some were for Eli Capilouto in Montgomery, Alabama. There is even a
record of a marriage between a CAPILOUTO and a CAPELOUTO in 1986, so it
looks like this will be full of rich genealogical information.

initial announcement about the Southern Israelite, I received several
messages that people had trouble with the plug in. In all cases, the
problem was resolved by turning the computer off, waiting until the next
morning and turning the computer on. I don't know why this is true, but
