Cyril BIELSCHOWSKY <cyril.bielschowsky@...>
Hello GerSIG,
I just joined the group. I have been doing genealogy research for a few months, I am a beginner in doing German Jewish Genealogy research. I live in France. My native language is French and I also know some English and a very little of German. There is a Stammbaum about the BIELSCHOWSKY family on the net and it's quite complete (http://www.bielschowsky.nl/). It begins with Alexander BIELSCHOWSKY , born in 1740 in Ponischowitz (Kreis Tost), Upper Silesia. His descendants established in Breslau, Oels or Naumslau. My primary research goals now are to find out : - if it's possible to find elements before 1740 for the BIELSCHOWSKY family. - more about the ROMANN family : my great-grand-father Karl BIELSCHOWSKY from Oels married a Rosa ROMANN (1872-1912), daughter of Louis ROMANN(1832-1921), >from Trautenau (now Trutnov) and would like to find what were the connections between Oscar (1871-1919, married to Ella Gl=FCck), Gertrud, Hugo (deceased in WW1), Friedrich (1900-1969?), all Romann. My JGFF Researcher ID number is 723415. The family names and ancestral towns that I have entered in the JGFF (JewishGen Family Finder) are : BIELSCHOWSKY >from Olesnica (Lower Silesia), Poland (Oels) ; BIELSCHOWSKY >from Wroclaw, Poland (Breslau) ; ROMANN >from Trutnov, Czech Republic (Trautenau).
