records on my grandparents who lived in Nurnberg and Furth, Bavaria. I had a wonderful response with many recommendations and I have thanked individuals privately. But I thought it might be helpful to others if I summarised the suggestions received. I have reason to believe that there are Gestapo records on my grandparents, both maternal and paternal. Does anyone know whether a) there is access to Gestapo files and b) if so, to where and to whom does one apply? My grandparents came >from Nurnberg and Furth respectively in Bavaria. Any help will be gratefully received!
