JewishGen Discussion Group #JewishGen Re: Jewish soldier buried in Italy #general

I am searching a Jewish soldier born in Sokal and died during ww1.
In wich army he fought? If you mean Sokal in Ukraine near Lviv there is no
reason for wich a Russian soldier fought (and died) during WW1 in Italy.

According to family story he is buried in Italy, no one knows where. Any
suggestions?
There are war cemeteries with soldiers of the armies of Hungary, Germany,
Austria.
See for example: http://www.montegrappa.org/mausolei/mausolei.php

During WW2 there was a "Jewish Infantry brigade Group" that fought in
Central Italy.
