If your family lore and the NY Times knew only that your great uncle traveled to
Fallsburg, it doesn't necessarily mean he died there. You could try your inquiry
at the town of the nearest hospital to Fallsburg. Since your relative probably
died unexpectedly, the town where the hospital is located would have his death
record.
