My greatgreat aunt nee Esther FRANKEL/FRANKLIN/FRANKELIEN b 1859 d. 29-Mar-1933 (Jo'berg) married Louis Abraham KAHN in London Dec 1887 before immigrating to S Africa where her second son Albert E Kahn was born. Louis Kahn (a watchmaker) died and his son Albert Kahn died 14-Oct-1952 buried Westpark Cemetery Jo'berg. Her first son Harold Kahn died 1 Aug 1961 Jo'berg. The sons were stockbrokers. The only hope I now have of finding Esther Frankel/Franklin/Frankelien birthplace is if she or Louis Abraham Kahn obtained British citizenship in Johannesberg.
