Re: German text using the Hebrew alphabet [? on old gravestones ? ] #germany

In the old (destroyed) Claassenstrasse cemetery in Breslau, (now
Wroclaw, Poland) in use >from 1761 to 1856, there were gravestone
inscriptions written in German using Hebrew characters. The one that
comes to mind is that of my great great great grandmother Amalie
SILBERSTEIN geb. LEUBUSCHER (ca.1764 - 1835),

in Hebrew characters in fact Hebrew text or are some actually in the
Yiddish or German language using Hebrew characters?
