Can anyone go to the NYC Dept. of Vital Records for me to check on a marriage certificate this week? It is somewhat urgent as I just discovered something very unsettling on the 1940 census for NY concerning my great-grandfather's ex-wife and I don't want to stir the pot until I can be sure this is true.
