The Jewish Genealogical Society of Tampa Bay will meet at Gulf Coast
Jewish Family Services, 14041 Icot Blvd., Clearwater, Florida on Sunday
June 10, 2012 at 2:00 PM.

research worldwide. The LitvakSIG is dedicated to discovering and
preserving Lithuanian-Jewish heritage. Its mission is to discover,
collect, document, disseminate, and preserve information about the once
vibrant Jewish community of Lithuania. The website is a
platform for providing this information, and it is a gateway to
searchable databases for the public. In addition, the LitvakSIG hosts a
Members-Only website with added content that describes the various
research projects, and it provides a roadmap for all translated records.
Newly transcribed records are available to LitvakSIG members at least
18 months before they are released to the public through JewishGen
and through the All Lithuania Database (ALD). Mr. Israel will present
an overview of the LitvakSIG databases and will demonstrate how to use
