I recently send a query to the US Citizenship Services looking for the
Naturalization papers of my Grandmother's brother. I send with the request
a copy of his obit and proof of his marriage.
I finally heard back >from them saying they had made a search of their
records, along with variations of his name, and were unable to find any
documentation at all. Is it possible when asked they question for the census
that he just said yes when asked if he was naturalized, or would he have
had to show proof?
Is there anywhere else I can look or am I at a dead end.
As usual thanks for any help you can give me.
