Viewmate 23753 shows two pictures of the same gravestone in Warsaw.
The first was taken in 1927, the stone looks fresh and new.
In the second picture it looks weathered and leaning over; I believe the
picture was taken after World War II.
It is the grave of Chaya Leah CHRZAN who died on 12 Sep 1909. As she
lived in Makow Mazowiecki, I presume she died visiting Warsaw, and was
buried there. Her husband Ezra Chrzan was buried in Makow.
i want to find out if this gravestone still exists in the Warsaw
Cemetery and where exactly.
