JewishGen Discussion Group #JewishGen [United Kingdom] Imperial War Museum and Brightsolid Create WWI Digital Project #general

Jan Meisels Allen

The [UK] Imperial War Museum is working with Brightsolid to create an
interactive digital project called Lives of the First World War which will
hold the stories of over 8 million men and women who served in uniform and
worked on the home front. When completed it will bring together records
from museums, libraries, archives and family collections across the world.
The centenary of World War 1 is August 1914 and the platform goes live later
this year to be completed by the anniversary. To read the press release go
