To those considering attending any of my talks in Southern California
next week, and also to those who think I've lost my mind:

Voltaire did not say,

"The Holy Roman Empire is neither holy nor Roman Nor German"

but rather:

"The Holy Roman Empire [...] is neither holy, nor Roman, nor an empire."

The misstatement originated with me and not with anybody >from any of the
JGSes that so kindly invited me.
