I am looking for possible surnames of people who left Kovno Gubernia (possibly
Grinkiskis ) in the late 1800's and ended up in the United Kingdom ( mainly Leeds,
England ) where the family name became Harris. I am attempting to trace my paternal
grandfathers roots and will be in Vilnius and Kaunas in early September.
Any help will be much appreciated.
