Archives New Zealand and the National Library have made more than 141,000
service files on the First World War available online. All 141,000 files
can now be accessed at: http://www.archives.govt.nz/world-war-one

This is probably the most complicated digitization project ever undertaken by
the Archives New Zealand. The National Library, through the Alexander Turnbull
Library, has now made the "H-series" of official war photographs available
online. The images were taken by the official war photographer, Henry
Armytage Sanders and provide the most comprehensive visual record of New
Zealanders on the Western front >from 1917 to 1918. The "H" Series is the
first Turnbull Library collection, made open to the public under new a New
National Library policy that allows reuse without restrictions. To read

As part of the 100th centenary of World War I, the Archives New Zealand and
National Library a number of First World War centenary records have been
made available and links to them can be found at the aforementioned url.
