A new virtual museum has opened : The Virtual Museum of Judaica in Moldova.
The exhibit is entitled " On the Trails of History". Items that can be
viewed include: digitized photographs ( persons as well as the area),
documents ( including lists of people deported during the Holocaust),
Judaica items, tombstones and Jewish cemeteries, art objects, videos and
more. When viewing an item, double click on it and the information about
the document, photograph etc. will appear. There are three circles on the
website that are portals to "About", Museum" and "Contacts". Click on
Museum to open the photographs, documents, videos etc. To see the virtual

The work took place during 2013-2014 and the project team carried out
on-site research in Soroca, Balti, Tiraspol, Rybnita, Orhei, Chisinau and
the villages Rascov and Ciuciuleni. The Museum collaborated with other
Jewish museums, libraries, Holocaust centers, and the Archives of the
Republic of Moldova.
