I'm researching my great great grandparents Mandel and Rachel KIMELMAN
and six of their children, and have found the ship's manifest for their
immigration to the US on the S.S. Sorrento out of Hamburg May 24, 1899,
arriving New York. It is showing their prior residence as Kudrincze or
Kudrincke/Kudrinche (I can't really make out the next to last letter).
Where is/was this? I can't turn up anything in a Google search for
either spelling. I know that both of them were born in Austria, and
believe that all the children were as well.
Thanks for any light you can shed on this question.
