JewishGen Discussion Group #JewishGen Seeking info on Jean Gottlieb of Newark NJ, born 1882'ish, daughter Ada Salzinger (born 1911'ish) #general

Hi, all. I've posted in the past seeking help finding info about
my great-great-grandfather Henry GOTTLIEB of Newark including his
final resting place and in effort to find his naturalization records,
but have been found ridiculously little about him, despite that I even
have his death certificate, but no one (including a woman who's
literally written a book about Jewish cemeteries around Newark!) can
make sense of where it says he was buried. (BTW, there were another
Henry Gottlieb or two around his age >from Newark whom I've found, but
they're not him.)

Trying something different here. His first wife (my
g-g-grandmother) died younger and he remarried, and this second wife's
name was Jean Gottlieb. She had a daughter whose married name was Ada
SALZINGER, born around 1911.

A shot in the dark--maybe someone who's familiar with these names
can lead me in the right direction at least for Henry's final resting
place, as he would hopefully be with Jean, who I know survived him.

I found that Henry actually lived his last couple months at
Overbrook Hospital outside of Newark, which had been an insane asylum.
Henry had been very successful earlier on but I know that that took a
dramatic turn later, so it's possible that he was buried in a Jewish
section of a cemetery for indigent people at the hospital maybe, but
an administrator at the current incarnation of that hospital system
told me last year that they didn't have anything like that in 1951.
She may or may not be correct, I have no idea. The current
incarnation of the funeral home also couldn't help with what's listed
on his death certificate as being "Jewish-Cem" in Newark.
