On the Yad Vashem database I found a Page of Testimony (POT) for a David
Chaikin, son of Leivik, which was submitted by his daughter, Pnina Iani, in
1955. David is listed as having five children. Pnina (listed as surname
Khana) also submitted a POT for her sister, Lea. As there is no POT for her
mother, Frida (nee Yanovitsky) I assume Frida either died before the war or
survived. At the time of submission Pnina was living in Afikin, Israel. I
have been trying to track the children of Leivik Chaikin >from his first
marriage. I would like to contact someone >from the Iani family who might
have more information on the Chaikin family. If anyone knows someone from
that family or has other relevant information, please let me know.
