I've just had a close (1st to 3rd cousin) DNA match to someone who has only
recently found out that his biological mother was Jewish.
He was born in Queens, New York, in 1961.
However, it is his adoptive parents who appear as his parents on his birth
Being in Australia, I have no idea whether it's possible for my "cousin" to
find out who is birth mother is, or even if there is a paper trail somewhere.
Any advice appreciated, especially if anyone has experience in this process.
