I've posted a birth record on ViewMate in Polish which I would like a
complete translation of:

It is indexed by JRI-Poland as the birth of Josef Hersz MONAT to
Izrael and Ryfka Matla on 23-Dec-1847. It is possible that this Izrael
and Ryfka Matla are the parents of Shmuel Moshe MONAT (aka Sam Monat),
who based on the records I have was born in Warszawa about 1849 to
"Israel" and "Martha", then was a soldier, lived in Petrozavodsk,
Russia, and immigrated to New York City about 1895 where he worked as
a plumber and tinsmith until his untimely death of a heart attack in
1903. If so, then this Josef Hersz MONAT would be Sam MONAT's brother.
