I am part of a team delving into 19th Century (and Earlier) genealogy
in the region roughly enclosed by the triangle formed between the
Vilna, Lida, and Dieveniskes (aka Divenishok, etc.). This triangle
includes territory today within the current Lithuania and Belarus.

In order to unite several key genealogical strands the team is
seeking to collaborate with the following persons or any of their
descendants. The information provided herein is derived >from the
Divenishok Yizkor Book (1977).

Joinder of any of these persons into the regional tree is sure to lead
to mutually beneficial family history:

1) Arye ROGOL: born after 1959, believed to reside in Israel, son of
Zelig Rogol, brother of Sarah Rogol, grandson of Arye Leyb Rogol

2) Sarah ROGOL: born after 1959, believed to reside in Israel,
daughter of Zelig Rogol, sister of Arye Rogol, granddaughter of Arye
Leyb Rogol

3) Uri GARVEY (alt. GARVIYE, GARBEY, etc,): born around 1945,
believed to reside in USA; parents: Yehuda Garvey and Khayeh LEVINE;
siblings: Sophia Garvey; grandparents: Broyne Levine and Feigeh;
Other Facts: aeronautical engineer in US

4) Sophia GARVEY (alt. GARVIYE, GARBEY, etc,): born around 1945,
believed to reside in USA; parents: Yehuda Garvey and Khayeh LEVINE;
siblings: Uri Garvey; grandparents: Broyne Levine and Feigeh; Other
Facts: married to engineer, two children

5) Yosef ALONI: born around 1950, resided in Israel; parents: Avraham
Aloni and Breyneh RUDNIK; siblings: ???; grandparents: Rov Yosef
Rudnik and ???; Other Facts: Yosef Aloni is deceased as of 1993; was
Professor of Genetics and Virology at Weizmann Institute; Daniel
Aloni of Physics Department at Weizmann is believed to be his son or
grandson

6) Rosalyn BLUM (nee LEVINE): born around 1950 in USA; parents:
Nachum Levine and Sarah GERSHOVITSH; siblings: ???; grandparents:
Peysakh Levine and Khayne, Chaim Gershovitsh and Rokhl SHKLAR; Other
Facts: moved to Fresno, California in 1940; two children in Fresno

7) Any of Three LEVINE siblings (2F, 1M); born around 1950, reside in
USA; parents: Moshe Levine and Pearl KARTSHMER (aka KARCHMER,
KRECHMER, KARZCMER, etc.); grandparents: Peysakh Levine and Khayne,
Noakh Kartshmer and Rokhl SOLTS (aka SCHULTZ, SULCZ, SHULTS, etc.);
Other Facts: lived in California in 1970s (probably Fresno area)

8) Shoshana YUDENFREUND (nee LEVINE); born around 1950 in Israel;
parents: Shlomo Yudenfreund and Zipporah Levine; siblings: ???;
grandparents: Peysakh Levine and Khayne; Other Facts: lived in Israel
in 1970s with at least one son and one daughter (married name
unknown)

9) Eliahu, Mikel, and/or Miriam MAZEH: born between 1900 and 1910 in
Dieveniskes. Mother: Shoshe-Yenteh. Nothing further known.
