To celebrate July 4th, MyHeritage is offering free access to their US
Newspaper collection >from July 3, 2018 (it is open now I tried it) through
July 8, 2018 11:59PM Pacific Daylight Time. No data subscription is
required. The US Newspaper Collection currently holds newspapers >from the
states of Pennsylvania, Ohio, Connecticut, Maine, New York, Kentucky,
Indiana, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Maryland, West Virginia, New Jersey,
and Delaware.

Hint: for my search I only used surname and state not publication title as I
was doing a broad search to see what was available and I found my family
using just those two data fields: surname and clicking on the specific state
(New York).
