Do you have tens/hundreds/thousands of photos you don't know how to preserve and
archive for future generations of your family? Join us for the next meeting of
the Israel Genealogy Research Association (IGRA) on November 19th.

Join us for the next meeting of the Israel Genealogy Research Association (IGRA)
on November 19th. Philip Trauring will speak on "Preserving Photographs,
Scanning, and Digital Backups". This 3-part presentation will offer insights on
how to best preserve photographs (prints, negatives, and slides), how to
optimally scan them to your computer, and how to insure the scanned images are
backed up properly using the latest products and technology.

Philip is the current IGRA President and runs the IGRA website. He is also the
creator of the https://bloodandfrogs.com/ website which includes over 20,000
resources. He has lectured at the IAJGS conferences in Jerusalem and Warsaw.
Philip has also written for the JewishGen blog and managed research groups at
Gesher Galicia.
