Re: Przemysl Regiment #galicia

In his (her) message of 01-013-01 Karol Schlosser asked whether anyone knew
about the "Przemysl Regiment" c. 1915.

I didn't know anything about it, but a quick search using the "google" search
engine (http://www.google.com) turned up some information at:

http://www.kitzbuhel.demon.co.uk/austamps/dixnut/dn5.htm

and at:

http://www.chez.com/johannes/Genealogie/KuKArmee.htm (this account is in
German but it discusses in some detail the First World War.)

I found other URLs but I didn't take the time or make the effort to read them.

In my responses to Jewishgenners, I have often reiterated that they should
not confine themselves in their searches and inquiry postings to Jewishgen
and its SIGS, infofiles, etc.. They should also do frequent searches on the
Internet. I say "frequent," because new information is always being put there
and often updated. There exists several very capapble and wide ranging search
engines, but I usually use the google search engine first when I want to
learn something.
