Dear Geners,
According to census records my 1st great grandmother Miriam Barnett was born in
Poland, with a possibility of the city being Warsaw. She married my 1st great
grandfather Israel (Joseph) Cohen around 1866, I do not know where but they settled
in Liverpool and attended the 'Old Hebrew Congregation'. Miriam died in May 1915.
Her headstone shows her fathers name to be Moshe Mordechai BARNETT. Does this ring
a little bell with anyone. ?
