23andMe announced on January 15 that they added 1,000 ancestry regions-they
have refined their algorithm in determining your ancestral breakdown. To

They now have 30 new population specific pages called Ancestry detail
reports and evaluate each customer's ancestry based on more than 1,000
specific regions. There are links to the new reports on the aforementioned url.

To subscribe to their blog you must also consent to your submitted data being
collected and stored. You do not have to consent to read the aforementioned blog
post.
