On behalf of the IAJGS Board and our current membership, it is with great
pleasure that we welcome The Jewish Genealogy Society of Central Maryland as
the newest member of our growing family of IAJGS organizations. The society
is primarily focused on including members >from Howard, Anne Arundel,
Frederick, and Prince George's, Maryland. For more information about the

The group's next meeting will be Monday March 18th, 1:00 PM, at the Vantage
House, 5400 Vantage Point Road, Columbia, MD. They will explore the
genealogical resources available >from books in print. Among others, they
will review the publications of Alexander Beider and "The Family Tree
Historical Maps of Europe." Attendees are encouraged to bring their
favorite genealogical resources in print to share with others.

The International Association of Jewish Genealogical Societies (IAJGS) was
formed in 1988 as a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. IAJGS is an umbrella
group of organizations which provides a common voice for issues of
significance to its members, to advocate for and educate about our
genealogical avocation, and to coordinate items such as the annual
International Conference on Jewish Genealogy. For more information on
