Bibliotheque et Archives nationales du Quebec (BAnQ) [Quebec Library and
Archives] announced it will allow the free use of over 100,000 images and historical documents. These documents have been in the public domain, and are on their website. It will be a few months until the documents are easily identifiable. The project to identify more documents will continue into 2020. The documents will be designated copyright free on the BAnQ website. The website, http://numerique.banq.qc.ca/ is only in French. Go to: "Patrimoine Quebecois (Quebec Heritage) will contain the historical documents identified as in the public domain. Select "nos selections" (our selections) that includes newspapers, maps, postcards, and photos. Clicking on:" tout voir" to see everything in the Quebec Heritage Collection.
