My grandmother traveled with three young children circa 1905 to Halifax and
then to Montreal. She left >from Kishinev and departed by ship >from Germany
to Liverpool, then to Halifax.

I am curious to get a sense as to how long it typically took for such a trip.
How many countries and languages were part of her experience? And ballpark
estimate of cost in today's dollars
