During the MyHeritage LIVE user conference in Amsterdam, they announced a
new online resource center, MyHeritage Education. The center is available in English, German, Dutch, French, Swedish, and Norwegian. Additional languages will be added in the future. The center includes learning materials to assist you in learning about articles, how to videos and webinars, all about and >from MyHeritage. To access the education feature go to: https://education.myheritage.com/ To read more see their blog post at: https://blog.myheritage.com/2019/09/introducing-myheritage-education/ MyHeritage also acquired two new companies: SNPedia and Promethease by acquiring the company that owned them: River Road Bio. SNPedia.com is a wiki containing information linking genetic variants and medical conditions as well as traits. This will remain a free resource for the academic community and for consumers. Promethease.com is a literature retrieval service. It allows consumers to upload their raw DNA data >from which ever DNA testing company they had their test taken, to automatically compare it to SNPmedia to see relevant scientific findings regarding their genome. This service will be free through the end of 2019. Information on the purchase of the two companies may be read in the MyHeritage press release at: https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20190907005012/en/ I have no affiliation with MyHeritage and am posting this solely for the information of the reader.
