To all the kind and caring researchers who responded to my plea for
information on my missing cousin, Lejb SZEJNMAN, who sailed >from Haifa to
New York on a 6-month visa in 1947, I send a heart-felt THANK YOU! I
especially thank JRI-Poland and JewishGen for making all this correspondence
possible; I received e-mails >from all over the world!
Here's an update: >from the information that I have garnered thus far, Lejbl
has died and his widow, Ruth, is in Jerusalem. A very kind lady who also
lives in Jerusalem, Sophie MENDEL, has offered to check further for me. May
Hashem guide her to Ruth. And again, thanks to everyone who cared enough to
write to me.
