JRI Poland #Poland Kremenets One-Step Search of Master Index has been updated #poland

Ronald D. Doctor

On 1 July I sent the following notice to this list

[The new] Revision List update has almost 9,800 new records,
bringing the total to more than 51,000 rows in
the spreadsheet. Most of the new records are for Radyvyliv,
Yampol, Shumsk, Rakhmanov, and Pochayiv.
These records generated about 14,000 new entries in the
Concordance. The Concordance now has more
than 141,000 entries, almost 66,000 of which are >from the revision
lists. The new names are not yet in our
One-Step search engine on our Shtetlinks website.

We now have updated the One-Step Search Engine so that it includes
these records. Enjoy your searching!

Many thanks to Adam Bronstein for updating the One-Step Search Engine
for our Indexed Concordance of Personal Names and Town Names; and,
enormous thanks to Steve Morse for developing the One-Step Search
system and making it available to all.

Entries in the Concordance are drawn >from a very wide variety of
records that we have obtained and/or translated. These include vital
records, Russian revision lists, Yizkor Books, Documents >from the
Central Archives for the History of the Jewish People and many others.
A complete list of sources for the Concordance is posted on our
website in the document titled, "Introduction and Guide to the Indexed
Concordance of Personal Names and Town Names". It is at the same web
page as the search engine (see above).
