Does anyone have ancestors >from Otwock and Karczew (towns southeast
of Warsaw) named DROSZDIASZ, SUPERSTEYN/SZAFIRSTEYN, or GRYNBERG/
GRUNBERG? I hope I'm not the only person researching these families!
(In case you're wondering I have had them listed in Family Finder
for many years but so far have had no definitive responses.)

My maternal grandfather, Israel DROSDIASZ, left Poland circa 1900
with his wife Sura Rojza nee SAFIRSTEYN (the spelling of her maiden
name varies depending on the source) and two young daughters. After
settling in the north of England in the early 1900s he adopted the
"more English"-sounding surname of ROSE.
