My late mother in law was liberated >from Bergen-Belsen in April 1945.
On a genealogy website I found her Brazilian immigration card issued
by the Brazilian Consulate in Paris in May 1946. She was in transit
to Bolivia where she arrived in July 1946. On the immigration card
her Polish Passport number, which was issued by the Polish Consulate
in Paris in April 1946, is listed.
Is there any way I can obtain a copy of her Polish Passport
application based on the Passport number listed? If so, which
embassy or consulate would I have to contact?
Who would have paid for her trip and would there be existing records?
Thank you for any information or ideas you can share.
