I too am of the Lipshitz line. My father Abraham Moses Lipshitz changed
his name to Feinstein in London in about 1907 because a man whose last name
was Lipsky was accused of a murder and later vindicated, but any Jew whose
first name started with L was automatically called Lipsky the murder. My
father was born in Zabludava. I am in contact with several Lipshitz families
and they are all wonderful people. I'm sure we must all be related somewhere.
