Dear Jewish Gen,

I want to briefly share the very quick success I had through this list
and it's Latin-America SIG. As I started to seek a long lost great
uncle in Sao Paulo (Menashe BURDMAN >from Sokiryany) I was overwhelmed
with responses on how to proceed. I was led to the Brazilian Jewish
Federation, which found his death record. They then sent me to the
Chevra Kadisha in Sao Paulo who got me all the cemetery info, including
the deceased's father's name that confirmed the match. The Chevra
Kadisha gave me the childrens' names. Once I sent the childrens' names
to the Latin-America SIG, I was again overwhelmed with responses on how
to track them down. Fortunately for me, a friend of the family wrote me
back, and I have since been in touch with long lost Brazilian cousins,
including one who lives in Colorado! Thank you all for making this
match for me, and making my family that much bigger!
