How would I be able to find out about a rabbi >from Riga who was "born
the same year as Mozart [1756] and died the same year as Beethoven
[1827]?" This gem of a clue was just told to me by a distant cousin
who remembered that one of our great-uncles told her many years ago
that we are descendant >from this rabbi. She's not sure she remembers
what he said the rabbi's name was, but her best recollection is
Ephraim ben Yitzchak.
