Latvia SIG #Latvia Translating from Yiddish - "Significant" family letter from Louis ZAUSMER, London, to brother Julius, Johannesburg #latvia

Joyaa Antares

Dear Fellow JG Enthusiasts,

I am thrilled to have received a family treasure - a letter written in 1930
by my great-uncle Louis to his brother, Julius ZAUSMER.

It's a reasonably lengthy letter, so should contain "gold" in terms of -
* family news
* possibly a few historical and geo-political references
* possibly family lore

It is in Yiddish and I'd love a full translation.
Apparently the writing is quite easy to read, but I'll let an expert be the
final judge of this.

The first 60+% of the letter can be seen on these five viewmate links

Please respond either via the form in viewmate or by emailing me.
Once these are translated I will post the final three links.

Utterly grateful,

Joyaa Antares
