1--Was Klaipeda a port >from which ships sailed to the US?
2--If yes, are there records available anywhere and how can they be
accessed?
3--Was Klaipeda a port >from which one sailed to another port to board a
ship to the US?
4--If yes, what's the name of that [those] port [s]?
5--If the answers to both questions are "no", what is the logical port a
person living in the vicinity of Klaipeda would go to to get a ship to the
US? The person was a very young girl traveling alone and not likely to
travel far by land.
