I can find no record of that town. Has anyone heard of that town or one
sounds like this one?
It would be helpful if those making requests like this would include
whatever information they have regarding where the town in question might
have been when their ancestors left it. In other words, are you talking
about a town in Russia, Germany, Romania, China? Even broad indications
would be helpful in narrowing down possibilities.

Since Alan is asking for sound-alike names, I presume he is working from
family tradition or secondary records that may have distorted the name.

This makes me wonder if his Moguliza might be Mogilnitsa, now called
Trudovoye. This town is in modern Ukraine, but was in the Trembowla district
when it was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. It is 103 km north
northwest of Chernivtsi at 49 degrees 12 minutes north and 25 degrees 37
minutes east

Or perhaps it is Mogielnica, formerly called Mogelnitsa and Mogelnitza.
This town is in modern Poland about 64 km south southwest of Warsaw at 51
degrees 42 minutes north and 24 degrees 44 minutes east.
