Lithuania SIG #Lithuania Re: Biography of Baron de Hirsch #lithuania

Carlos Glikson

Judy Segal asked about an additional biography of Baron Moritz de Hirsch.
Last year I attended the presentation of one - only available in French as
far as I know at this time - at a meeting of the Argentine Jewish Genealogy
Association in Buenos Aires.

Dominique Frischer presented her very interesting biography of Baron de
Hirsch A Google search helps find "Le Moïse des Amériques. Vie et oeuvres
du munificent baron de Hirsch". It is 488 pages or 300 pages, according to
the source. The book obtained the 2003 Prix du Livre d'Histoire et de
Recherche Juives. At the editors website it is described as

Author : Frischer Dominique
Collection : French essays
Printed: October 2002
Le Moïse des Amériques
Code EAN : 9782246597810
Code ISBN : 2246597811
N° Hachette : 3769130
Format : 22,5 x 14 mm
Number of pages: 300

I have no financial interest in this book, and I would be happy to learn
about a translation to English or Spanish!

Hope this helps,
