I have found that several of the families I am researching moved >from
Vilna to Berlin in the 1860s-1870s. These branches then came to the US
in the 1880s. The names of these families are TOBACK, TRYWUSCH, and
IAISCH (JAESS, YAIS, IMPORT)and maybe BECKER. Was moving to Germany
a common occurrence? Thanks for your help.
