LitvakSIG VRI Project - Shtetl Coordinator Needed for Josvainiai, Lithuania
The LitvakSIG Vital Records Indexing Project is in need of a Shtetl
Coordinator for Josvainiai. The Shtetl Coordinator will be responsible for
contacting prospective project members, dealing with the indexing personnel,
and proofing the translations [format only, no language skills necessary].
There is sufficient funding for Josvainiai to begin the first few years
worth of records and we need someone to come forth and volunteer some time
to grow the Josvainiai group. There are a wealth of records for this town
and it would be nice to maintain continuity of the indexing once it begins.
