I have discovered a 12/12 match to my brother's DNA testing. This
indicates a 7 generation or less connection between individuals.
This person's origins are listed as France. We have no known
connection to France so I am eager to follow this lead. I have send
an email by way of FamilyTreeDNA to this person, hoping to
communicate, but so far, no response, so I am stuck with some very
interesting, but very general information.

I have records dating back to late 1700s in Lithuania for my family.
Any information out there with regards to moving >from France to
Lithuania around this time? The surname in my family is REST--
possible German / Alsace? origin? Undetermined as of yet.
