i found the official Latvian record of my gr.gr. grandparents marriage on jewishgen.org but it was registered for 1889/90 --about 30 yrs after the birth of their children and when they were no longer young - could anyone tell me if i should presume that official records of marriages had no connection at all with the actual huppa years earlier - or is their something amiss here?
