I am resending this email as was suggested by some of those
who helped me with my search for Tyltyshskaya volostj. I sent it a
while back but it must have gotten lost in cyberspace. I just wanted
to thank everyone who so kindly took the time to help me find
Tyltyshskaya and to state that it is in Zarasai, although closer to
present day Utena and was part of or an estate at one time.
What I still don't understand is the terminology "state estate".
Does that mean it belonged to the government? I have made a few
inquiries in Lithuania but haven't heard back.
