We are pleased to announce that LitvakSIG day will be Thursday, August
11 during the IAJGS conference in Seattle, August 7-12. Our annual
meeting will be in the morning.

The LitvakSIG luncheon that same day will feature Virginija
Cijunskiene, our guest speaker >from Lithuania.

Virginija was born in 1954 in Panevezys, Lithuania. She graduated
Vilnius University in 1977 with a major in history. During the years
1977-1979 she worked in the State audio-visual archives. >from 1979
year she has been at the Lithuanian State Historical Archives where
she has been the director since 2011. >from 2000 Virginija Cijunskiene
has been a lecturer of Vilnius University in addition to her key role
in the archives. We are honored to have her with us this year in
Seattle at the 36th IAJGS International Conference on Jewish
Genealogy.

Following the our luncheon, at 3 p.m., Judy Baston will be presenting
"Researching Your Litvak Roots With LitvakSIG and More."

Other Litvak related programs and Birds of a Feather (BOF) meetings
will be announced when they are known. More information about
LitvakSIG activities will be posted as they become available. Do look
for us at the SHARE Fair on Sunday, August 7th.
