The recently completed roots trip to Cape Town >from Israel by Beverly
Saevitzon Jacobson and her children precipitated a search for the Sefer
Torah her great grandfather, Aphraim Bloch, donated to Highlands House
retirement home back in 1948.

The last time it was seen by a family member was by Beverly's
brother, Richard Shavei Tzion in 1998.

Read more about this success story, the research tools used and
documents found that helped locate the Sefer Torah, and bring the family
together to honour the memory of their ancestors.
