I am greatly saddened to hear of Bill's recent passing. I had the pleasure of being on a "roots trip" to Lithuania with him ten years ago and really enjoyed getting to know him a bit. We kept in contact occasionally after the trip and his kind and caring attitude was always evident. He was knowledgeable about so many things, not the least of which was Lithuanian genealogy, and was a wonderful source of information for me and other fellow researchers.
Bill was just an all-around great guy and he will be sorely missed by those who knew him.
